It is a great tool to use technology to be able to give the students the immediate feedback that teachers can't always give to them because of the size of classroom's now.

You are held accountable as a teacher to make sure that your students have been taught the standards required by the state. By including technology it can only improve the learning that takes place.

Our world is changing daily because of technology, and as educators we need to help our students be ready to meet these changes.

Technology is an integral part of the world today that it would be a disservice to our students not to include it in the classroom.

Technology grabs the attention of the students. The question to me is, "Why wouldn't I incorporate technology as a tool for learning?"

Students are more engaged in learning when technology is involved, even if I am simply showing a page of my book on the smartboard and referring to it throughout discussion.

It is important that technology is being used to enhance the learning rather than just for the sake of using technology. Students need to stay focused on the standard

Technology is a tool to reach the instructional goal, therefore the instructional goal is foremost in my mind, before infusing technology into the classwork.

I don’t see this as optional. As technology continues to progress, it is only natural that it also progress in our educational system. We cannot depend on a “technology class” to cover these standards. As technology is fused into more and more aspects of daily life, it must also be fused into all curriculum.
