I found several educational yet fun sites that I can use with my students as incentives for good behavior.

I found sites that I want to pass onto parents for extra practice at home with numbers and words.

Lots of great ideas presented to us. It is always a challenge to take things to the k-2 level, but the portaportal will be excellent to have available. It is nice to have so many links in one place so that the 'technology-impaired' don't have to reinvent the wheel. Thanks for all the great ideas.

I am not very proficient with technology, and so any time that I am provided with useful tools to locate activities and useful graphic organizers, I am extremely grateful. I found several sites for my students to visit for math activities. Thank you

The idea of utilizing a blog would be beneficial for student learning! It would be neat to see the students take their learning to another level and interact in an online communication format.

Using Inspiration to make Venn Diagrams

I liked looking at the different sites that are available.

We could use Inspiration programs in the classroom to create graphic organizers that will give students a visual representation of the material being covered.

In respect to the strategies that were taught, I plan to use the Kidspiration activities to reinforce comprehension skills and organizational skills. In regards to the website, I am excited to use some of the math activities that focus on problem solving, pie charts and graphing. The technological tools that I plan to use will help my students to obtain a deeper understanding of the content in specific subject areas. I am especially looking forward to using the website's timeline organizer and Venn diagram with my students during our study of African-American heroes this month.

Today was helpful. I'm a bit of a dinosaur with technology, so I could use even more time to play with these websites.

I'm dumber than this computer. What do you think I got out of this?

I would like to look a little more at the interactive VennDiagrams. I think it would be a fun way for my students to complete a VennDiagram after reading.

I would like to have my 8th graders blog career ideas and interests. Now, I just have to "git'er done."

If you believe in telekinesis, raise my hand.

I liked the idea of putting the less important details of a passage in a lighter color and the most important in a bright color to help the students focus on the information. I also love having all of those sites in one spot for us to look at and use.

I enjoyed the activities on the website. I have some students in that will benefit greatly from the websites. I, too, struggle to find interactive websites that are educational.

I will be able to use the Kidspiration for sentence building and word sort.
